Network Engineer
Permanent Position
Basingstoke
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Network Engineer who is interested in becoming a 3rd Line Network Engineer through extensive training and mentoring to fast track your career. You will have knowledge of virtualised and traditional network solutions and will join a small team on a secure customer site.
You will also be required to hold or be willing to go through Security Clearance

- You will play an integral part in the team and your role will involve providing support across multi-site domains using the latest technologies within a secure environment
- This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, can-do individual to be involved from the build of the system to supporting it when live
- There will also be an element of On Call Cover.
Your skills and experience will cover…
2nd / 3rd line support of:
- Cisco Firepower
- Juniper switches
- Virtualised Networks (VMWare NSXT)
- Network performance monitoring and analysis
- Knowledge of Storage and Backup Technologies would be advantageous
