MARKETING AUTOMATION SPECIALIST (MARKETO) - HYBRID - CONTRACT - READING

We are hiring an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist (Marketo) to join the B2B Marketing team with one of our prestigious clients in Reading. You will play a crucial role in implementing and managing the Marketo marketing automation platform, enabling us to execute effective campaigns targeting both acquisition and existing customers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, driving growth and innovation in our B2B marketing initiatives.

Hybrid Role- 2 days/week (Wed &Thu)

Duration: 6 months + extension

Location: Green Park, Reading


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the B2B Marketing team to understand campaign objectives, requirements, and target audiences.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of the Marketo marketing automation platform.
  • Design, build, and manage complex multi-channel campaigns using Marketo's tools and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows, lead nurturing programs, and customer journey maps to optimize campaign performance and enhance the customer experience.
  • Build segmentation and dynamic lists for audience targeting and always-on campaigns.
  • Integrate Marketo with other relevant platforms, such as CRM systems or social platforms, to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyse results, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify opportunities for optimisation, and implement best practices for email deliverability, lead scoring, and segmentation.
  • Train and educate team members on Marketo best practices and usage.
  • Share the latest industry trends and advancements in marketing automation to bring innovative ideas to the team.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Marketo Developer, with a track record of successfully implementing and managing Marketo marketing automation for B2B campaigns.
  • Strong proficiency in Marketo's functionalities, including campaign creation, lead nurturing, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Experience with marketing technology integrations, particularly CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email/landing page build, template customisation and troubleshooting.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights for campaign optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Project management skills to ensure timely and successful implementation of marketing automation initiatives.
  • Marketo Certification is a plus.
