LEAD .NET DEVELOPER (AZURE) - CONTRACT - HYBRID- COVENTRY

Leading Managed Services Provider in the Defence and Private Sector client require a Lead Microsoft Applications developer to help support and deliver a number of solutions to our customers using the Microsoft stack of Technologies. The role will involve working on well-established System Integration projects delivering mission critical Enterprise solutions to our customers. You will be joining an experienced team and helping to deliver key change controls within the account to delivering both innovation and business value. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the next generation cloud ready integration framework which is currently being developed inhouse by the Integration team. The role will provide an excellent environment for learning new technologies and working with skilled resources and growing your career.

This role will also include a level of business analysis responsibilities whereby the individual will work closely with the customer to understand their requirements clearly in order to determine how these impact on existing systems with the ability to scope change both from a technical and cost aspect

MODE OF WORK : HYBRID - 2 DAYS/WEEK IN COVENTRY

DURATION: 2 MONTHS - POSSIBLE EXTENSION TO 10 MONTHS

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

Skills required:

  • Applications development using C#., Net 6/7/8 and Net Core 3.1 with some .Net Framework
  • ASP.Net MVC, nUnit, MoQ, Fluent Assertions, NServisBus and SonarCloud
  • Cloud technologies such as Azure PaaS (App Services, APIs, Azure Functions, CosmosDB)
  • Should be proficient in Azure DevOps - CI/CD Pipelines and Git for code repositories
  • knowledge Azure SQL Server
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be willing to work 2 days a week at customer site in Coventry.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in TDD.
