LAMP Engineer/ Design Engineer - (SC Cleared)
Basingstoke
Budget: TBC
My Global IT Services client had a short term vacancy for an Engineer.
The role requires an Engineer to produce the Low Level Design for the Aanval application on the Centos 7 platform and to formulate the production of automating the rollout of the SNORT virtual machines.
Scope:
a) Detail the Aanval application deployed on KVM appliances.
b) Produce all design artefacts and build instructions.
c) Specify configuration changes applied to the Centos 7 server base build in respect of the components Aanval, Apache, MySQL and PHP.
d) Implement the design in a development environment to validate.
e) Provide 4th line support during deployment.
Mandatory Skills:
* Proficient in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) setup and configurations.
* Experience in design and architecture principles.
* Proven ability to work under own initiative.
The role is initially a 4 week assignment however for the right candidate this may be extended
SC cleared is also required.
