Job Description
Job title: Integrated Facilities Manager
Location: Cambridge
Overview:
Our client, a leading telecoms company, is looking for an experienced multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and a consistent upbeat attitude.
You will support the company by handling a wide range of office management, project management and team management activities.
You will be an experienced Integrated Facility Management manager preferably with knowledge of building management and/or campus management, ideally having new office building management skills.
What you will do:
- Integrated Facility Management, including daily contract management, daily operation communication, expense management, performance assessment and any other required office-related issues
- Campus management, including Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, property/equipment, insurance, resource, expense, risk control and data protection management, as well as ensuring the company's compliance with regulations
- Tenant management, including lease contract and service fee management (e.g. utilities expenses), daily communication and handling disputes
- Project management of the campus/office, e.g. office renovation
- Procurement management, involvement in bidding projects, familiarity with market pricing, able to conduct commercial analysis independently
- Budget management
- Develop, optimise, publish and monitor the fulfilment of the local workplace management process, regulation and baseline
- Team management, to achieve goals in a timely manner
- Supplier management including contract, KPI, partner relationship management
The ideal candidate:
- 5 years of IFM management, some experience of Research & Development related companies and Global IFM companies preferred
- 3 years of supplier or team management
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Team spirit, openness in a multinational working environment
- Results-driven
- Well-organised and structured working style
- Understand local Law/Finance/Insurance industries, other relevant background or have a specialised qualification in Facility and/or Construction Management
- Relevant Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety qualifications
- Mandarin speaking is a plus
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
