Financial Data Specialist

• 6 month Day Rate Contract
• Reading\Hybrid- (2-3 days per week in office)
• You must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for Sponsorship

Purpose of the role:

This demanding and challenging role will work alongside two existing Financial Data Specialists, reporting into the Financial Data Senior Manager.

They will work closely with Finance, Credit Risk, Collections, Billing, Customer Payments, Legal and head office.

The focus of the role is to support audit testing of the order to cash processes, including external funding and repayment of handset receivables, via multiple billing and reporting systems. They will also be responsible for documenting the end-to-end processes.

Must Haves:

• Strong Finance process design and documentation experience.
• Relevant Qualification
• Highly numerate and analytical with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Confident and capable of communicating and influencing effectively to all levels.
• Experience of working in an operational environment and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Nice to haves:

• Mobile telecommunication industry experience.
• Internal or external audit experience

Key Deliverables

• Engage with external auditors to meet audit requirements, ensuring agreed reports and documents are delivered by the required time.
• Liaise with internal teams to understand and document the end-to-end processes and to design and perform required audit sample tests with external auditors.
