Finance Analyst (6 month Contract)

• Fully Qualified Finance Analyst
• 6 month Day Rate Contract Inside IR35
• Reading\Hybrid- (2-3 days per week in office)
• You must be available to start asap and eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship

Purpose of the role:

The role is responsible for supporting the T&O team in collecting data (finance, project teams etc...) from various sources, analysing that data and generating insights against specific business metrics to assess and improve business performance using those metrics. This will also involve supporting the accounting of these costs appropriately and generating necessary reconciliations and supporting documentation.

This role will be responsible for supporting the external audit process through direct engagement with auditors, provision of audit evidence and resolution of audit queries in the area.

Must have experience and skills:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified
• Financial Analysis and Planning experience
• Excel Advanced
• Experience of interfacing with commercial teams.
• Report writing and presenting to a senior management audience.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate in a demand led, rapid change environment.

Nice to have experience and Skills:

• Technology/IT team financial support

Key Deliverables

• Produce monthly reconciliations and supporting documentation
• Support analysis of actuals vs budgets/forecasts through data gathering and explanations for variances
• Support internal/external audits through providing responses to audit queries, provision of audit evidence as needed and resolution of audit issues raised
