Join our dynamic team in Reading as a Finance Accountant Capex, supporting the Capex Investment Manager in managing and reporting on the company's capital expenditures and fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Month-End

• Ensure accuracy of Network Capex, including journal entries for accrued expenses and income.
• Produce balance sheet reconciliations and timely customer billing.
• Generate monthly Capex, WIP, fixed asset register, and asset retirement obligations by analysing large data sets.
• Prepare statutory accounts footnotes and provide external audit support.
• Handle customer-billing queries.

Reporting, Analysis, & Forecasting

• Produce monthly Capex results with commentary.
• Identify opportunities and risks related to business activities and capex drivers.
• Support the Finance Manager with variance analysis and key metrics.
• Improve accuracy and efficiency in finance processes.
• Own the Capex financial forecast and collaborate on budgeting.

Experience & Skills:

• Strong financial accounting knowledge and stakeholder management experience.
• Agresso ERP software experience (desired).
