.NET DEVELOPER- CONTRACT - SWORDS-IRELAND - REMOTE
Leading Managed IT Services Provider in the Defence and Public sector, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for Application Development Senior Analyst/Developer for .Net Application Development (strong BA skills)
Specific Job Title: .Net Developer with BA Skills
Location: Swords - Ireland
Mostly Remote - Occasional visits to Swords-Ireland
A senior Analyst and developer who can:
- Enhance existing .Net application with underlying SQLServer database and integrations with Business Objects.
- Put in-place best practices SDLC with a small (3-5 person) supplier-side team for enhancing .Net and Business Objects applications for a small public sector client.
- Deliver improvements to existing applications, by applying and enforcing best practices which involve the right specifications for each part of the SDLC.
- Years Experience as .Net Developer: 5+ Years
- Years Experience in UI design (aka UX): 2+ Years working with users on layouts of screens and reports
- Years Experience working in specification-driven SDLC: 3 years in projects that are completely controlled by detailed specifications as part of a strict methodology.
Mandatory Skills (all of the below):
- Expert in Waterfall SDLC (software development life-cycle); Qualified PRINCE2 or equivalent preferred; Evidence of training courses preferred. Ability to procure/design the appropriate templates for specification.
- Expert in eliciting requirements from stakeholder groups (English speaking), and knowledgeable in which approaches to apply to which stakeholder groups; Preference for medical or scientific sector experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Competent in Technical Writing and in technical illustration. Able to visually communicate processes, user interface changes, conceptual data models, and interfaces.
- Competent communicator both in-person and via Teams calls. Able to control Teams calls, combining structured discussions and visual stimulus materials, and noting actions.
