Location: Reading - 2 days per week onsite

Role Overview:

In this dynamic position, you will:

• Deliver Network security expertise for multiple business initiatives, introducing and supporting the implementation of baseline and enhanced security requirements.
• Recommend security solutions and provide design input, technical approvals, and governance for project deliveries.
• Collaborate with the security team to improve technical standards, patterns, and processes.
• Engage with colleagues and partners to ensure successful delivery of Company's outcomes while governing partner activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Act as the security authority within business projects, ensuring security requirements are integrated from inception to operation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, clearly communicating security visions, principles, and governance standards.
• Project Support: Provide security requirements and design input across various projects and technologies, ensuring effective governance and assurance of security deliverables.
• Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of industry standards and evolving technical expertise.
• Documentation: Create, review, and approve documentation throughout the design and delivery lifecycle, ensuring governance and technical assurance.
• Capacity Planning: Ensure effective capacity management and planning for assigned security services and solutions, incorporating them into the technical and budget roadmap.
• Project Management: Support Programme and Project Managers in planning, risk management, and budgeting.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A blend of security consulting, architecture/design, and professional services experience.
• Architecture Skills: Lead the design and review of secure system architectures, developing and challenging patterns and principles as needed.
• Vulnerability Management: Understand system architectures and articulate the impact of vulnerabilities on designs and systems.
• Technical Domains: Network Security
• Negotiation Skills: Define and govern the delivery of security outcomes, influence technical outcomes with third parties, and manage conflict resolution.
• Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with common information security management frameworks
