Job Description
Cloud Managed Workplace Architect (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud/Microsoft/Android/IoS/MacOS/SCCM/InTune/UEM/MDM) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Client, for a rolling 6-month home based contract.
You will be viewed as a member of the team with the ability to co-ordinate and orchestrate, whilst using your combination of design skills and customer facing interaction to deliver Cloud Managed Workplace solutions in the context of a Modern Managed workplace. You will be working with customers to understand their business and technical requirements to design solutions within a developing Workspace Modernisation product set. We are looking for skills across the full Microsoft product set and VMWare, and are particularly interested in candidates with skills in MS Intune and VMware Workspace One UEM and Access as well as experience of management of the full range of modern devices including Windows10, Android, IOS, macOS, Chromebooks and associated management technologies.
We are looking for a candidate with the below experience:
AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, Windows 10, Android, IoS, MacOS, Chromebook, SCCM, MS Endpoint Manager, InTune, VMware Workspace One UEM, MDM, Agile/Waterfall.
Responsibilities will include:
- Designing complex Cloud Managed Workplace solutions moving customers forward from traditional Managed solutions to more modern managed solutions, leading work-streams on transformational programs and ensuring conformance to agreed design standards, methods and tools, including prototyping new tools and applications where appropriate.
- Shaping Cloud Managed Workplace technical proposals whilst making solution/service trade-offs where appropriate and providing support to our pre-sales and bid teams to ensure solution and cost alignment.
- Resolution ownership of technical challenges for Cloud Managed Workplace projects and the technical escalation point for the implementation teams.
