3rd Line Linux Infrastructure Support Engineer
Remote
**A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered**
Leading Managed Services Provider in the IT Sector require a skilled Linux Infrastructure Support Engineer on an ongoing contract basis.
Your experience
* At least 5-10 years' experience of supporting (2nd to 3rd Line) Linux servers and platforms within large scale infrastructures (1000+ servers).
* Significant Linux Experience (SUSE, RHEL or OEL)
* UNIX scripting skills
* Good understanding of Storage, Networking & Cloud computing technologies
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication.
* Have proven problem solving abilities.
* Awareness of the ITIL Service Management framework and specifically incident and change management.Your knowledge/skills -
* Proven Experience in an Implementation / support role at 2nd / 3rd line level
* Significant Linux Experience:
* RHEL Versions 6.x and 7.x
* OEL Version 7.x
* SUSE Versions 10.x, 11.x and 12.x
* UNIX scripting skills
