Job Description
We are seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our Global IT Services Company in a permanent position with the opportunity to train to become 2nd Line System Administrator. The role will be based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. A national security clearance is required for this role so candidates must either
The successful applicant will be a 2nd Line System Administrator, keen to learn and be trained in the below:
- Windows Server 2008/2012 Exchange 2010/2013,
- VMWare and Knowledge of Server infrastructure,
- VMware Technologies,
- Core Windows 2008/2012
- Server Technology including in depth knowledge
- Understanding of GPO and Active Directory
- Active Directory
- User Account Management
- DFS
- Analysis of Windows Log Files
- WIN7 Workstations.
- Incident logging
