Job Description:

The Wintel/Cor Apps Engineer, must be able to demonstrate level 3 Wintel experience of working both in a team and in isolation. The engineer should also have the ability to research a technology and develop their own skill set as and when required to allow them to identify root cause analysis.

The support role will encompass incident management as well as routine maintenance, progression of service and change requests. Investigation of faults as part of Problem Management. There will be a requirement to assist with projects, trials, operations and exercises. The role also requires the occupant to manage capacity and demand issues.

There will be an expectation to provide advice and recommendations for any requisite design changes, configuration management and the provision of support to the Authority towards its continuous service improvement initiatives.

Skill set:

Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Sharepoint and Exchange.

Due to the nature of the work candidates will need to hold SC clearance prior to starting the role.
