TOM Assurance Lead / Business Architect - Berkshire - Contract

Leading Mobile Telecoms company in Berkshire require a TOM Assurance Lead (Senior Business Architect) on an ongoing contract basis.

This role reports in to the Director of TOM Design and is responsible for managing the gated process by which the TOM Design Team receive their inputs from the Strategy team, create their Level 2 deliverables and the ongoing alignment to Level 2 from the Business Readiness Circles who will be designing and delivering Level 3-5 of the Operating Model.

The role will need to work closely with the deliverable owners across Business Transformation who have a responsibility in relation to designing the Operating Model.

Role responsibilities:

The typical planning horizon for this role is zero to two years.

• Accountable for creating and maintaining the overall governance framework for meeting and managing the definition of target architectures across IT and network for all services. This includes tooling, processes, organization and partners, technology, policies, exceptions and the roadmaps.
• Accountable for ensuring a regular and robust Design Authority Board meetings with appropriate audiences.
• Ensures that the policies, principles and standards are adhered to using review board.
• Recommends pragmatic exceptions where necessary to TOM Chapter Designer
• Creates and updates the record of change following architecture reviews.

Experience needed:

• Previous experience of architecture, architecture governance or business analysis.
• Experience in setting up and managing architecture review boards or similar
• Understands the different solution development lifecycle practices
