My client has a vacancy for a Web technical support contractor (1st line / 2nd line) to join the Web Support team to monitor and manage multiple website to assure it stays online, functions without flaw and assures users a rich online experience. The successful candidate will need to have experience of SharePoint.

The Web technical support candidate will:

• Ensuring that the web servers, hardware and software are operating correctly
• Generating and revising web pages
• Monitoring traffic through the sites
• Debug issues that arise with the performance of the websites
• Investigate website performance issues
• Troubleshoot website error
• Liaison between IT partners, address issues with website owner & developers to avoid downtime

Experience needed:

Knowledge of ISA, ISS, SharePoint and current web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, PHP/MySQL, XML jQuery/JavaScript, AJAX, SEO, MAMP and ecommerce is essential.

Due to the nature of the work candidates will also need to be Security cleared to SC Cleared prior to starting.
