Technical Support - Cloud - AWS - Contract - Portsmouth

This is a hands-on technical role responsible for configuration, administration and management of all cloud based services and managed platforms. You would be required to deliver appropriate technical fixes, support and coordinate service providers to assure the smooth delivery of cloud hosted/ 'as a Service' services and minimise the risk of business disruption to IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe management, configuration and patching/maintenance of cloud hosted infrastructure, to maintain a stable and secure cloud platform service for the business.
• Maintain hosted cloud services and optimum performance through rigorous monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting problems and escalating incidents & problems

Technical competency and knowledge of the following technologies:

• Cloud based solutions - Office 365 Microsoft ProPlus, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange services
• AWS, VMware & blade technologies
• Citrix technologies
• AD/ADFS/DNS

Experience Required:

• Technical support experience in complex hybrid cloud implementations in medium to enterprise scale networks.
• Demonstrable exposure to Change Management and incident process experience.
• Strong experience in both managed and non-managed infrastructure 'as a service' platforms including Azure, AWS and AMS.
• A proven strong knowledge of cloud technologies is a necessity with experience in the deployment of complex hosted solutions in demanding and mission critical environments.
• Experience of working in an ITIL controlled environment.
