Technical Project Manager (Service Design)

Great opportunity open for a Technical Project Manager with experience in leading and designing a Service Design based on ITIL, to come on board and work for a reputable global telecommunications company based in Cambridge. This will be a 6 month initial contract position with competitive rates on offer.

Key experience:

Proven and demonstrable experience of designing and implementing a Service Design in a complex technical environment.

Previous experience in a Video/Media environment or highly complex technical environment.

Exposure to OTT video multi-device clients.

Demonstrable experience of IT support of applications and services operating as *aaS.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Ability to lead and design a 'Service Design or Service Definition' based on ITIL for a Managed Service for 2 new complex solutions for cleint's customers.

* The service must include all day to day operational aspects post launch. Service Design must include: o Service Catalogue Management o Service Level Management o Information Security Management o Capacity Management o Availability Management o Tools to support the above Service

* Ability to lead the software selection for new products required for the Service Design.

* Ability to design configuration and integration of selected tools to effectively and efficiently deliver the service.

* Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to identify problems, create solutions, and implement quick resolutions.

* Ability to plan the design and implementation of a new Service.

* Ability to clearly document project risk assessments including impact and mitigation response.
