I am currently recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure Virtualisation Technical Design Authority on behalf of a leading communications company based in Reading town centre.

As Technical Design Authority you will be responsible for liaising with key shareholders, understanding their technical requirements for infrastructure virtualisation solutions and overseeing the designs produced by the suppliers ensuring they meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the project commissioning the design work.

As Technical Design Authority you will be responsible for managing suppliers including monitoring their spend, estimate design effort and ensure everyone adheres to the IT standards, enterprise architecture roadmap.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Technical Design Authority with exceptional understanding of Infrastructure and connectivity architecture design concepts
• Proven experience as a Solution Designer
• Experience of helping to deliver IT projects to the complete satisfaction of stakeholders
• Exceptional understanding and UANs and DCNs
• General OSS experience
• Infrastructure virtualisation
• IP Design
• Citrix design
• Appreciation for security
