Systems / Process Analyst (Procurement & Finance)

Reading (Permanent)

The Company:

A fast paced, agile and rapidly expanding Communications Company are currently seeking a Systems / Process Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Located within their brand new HQ in Reading, you will acts as the process lead and subject matter expert on Procurement to Payment, Finance system process in order to lead and support the End-to-End process changes to meet the business requirements, rules and regulations, compliance, and internal controls requirements.

Responsibilities:

Lead the systems operations on Procurement and Finance Processes (Financial Accounting, Payment, Order to Cash, Financial Reporting and Forecasting) by:

  • Formulate training strategies and conduct training to users in terms of system and business process
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complicated system issues independently and analyse the root cause
  • Understand the needs of the business and translate this into the new ERP functionality
  • Identifying improvements to existing procedures and applying system changes as required
  • Design, test, build and present process documentation

Support the financial data analysis and data reconciliations:

  • Analyse complex financial information and communicate internal control requirements with non-finance stakeholders across the companies and external service providers
  • Maintain financial and procurement master data and system configuration
  • Perform data reconciliation to ensure the corporate reports (used by both internal and external stakeholders) are accurate

Experience Required:

  • Excellent Excel Skills (including macros)
  • System and Process development and documentation experience
  • Manage change and process improvement life cycle
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge
  • Proven understanding of business processes including P2P, O2C, R2R
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail
