STP Core Integration Engineer - STP - Core - Reading - 6 month contract

My client requires an experienced Integration Engineer with exposure of STP Core to work on a large core network project for a leading telecommunications provider based in Reading.

• The roles responsibilities will include:
• Installation of STP - existing servers or VM environments
• Configuration of Server IP Network and VPN
• Testing and Validation of STP Master functionality
• Standard Monitoring,
• Provisioning Set-up and configuration & integration
• Execution of functional testing and validation of Acceptance Test Plans for solution
• Execution of ATP for Customized Service with Number Portability
• Creating Methods of Procedure - for base configuration includes detailed deployment configurations, diagramming and Master-Edge set up, etc
• Integration analysis, planning and documentation for Edge signalling systems and Masters provisioning systems

Expectation for the role is that the successful candidate will interact in person with team members, suppliers and customer. You will also be ideally suitable for the role if you possess the following skillset:

• Strong engineering skills with STP / signalling
• Working in a project delivery environment on customer's site
• Strong Communication Skills - Fluent in English
• Experience in Cloud technology is an advantage
• Exposure to signalling solutions is an advantage
