Job Description
Software Tester. Maidenhead. Permanent Opportunity.
Innovative supply chain technology company requires a Software Tester to join the team on a permanent basis. Acting as a functional tester of all software applications (handheld terminals and server enterprise applications), ensuring the functionality is tested using black box techniques and record and report results.
- Create test plans
- Work with department teams and business analyst and project manager to ensure appropriate tests are defined and developed.
- Create and execute test cases and test scripts for designated sotftware developments projects.
- Ensuring upkeep of documentation and reports to present test results.
- Participate in project review meetings and make recommendations to improve the test plans and processes.
Working with the .NET and Java teams but on a standalone capacity as the only dedicated tester you will illustrate experience working in a similar role and also have experience of hand held testing. ISEB foundation certified. Use of test tools management tools JIRA and Test Rail or similar. Any automated testing skills particularly Selenium.
