Role Purpose

Working with Test team to create test harness for performance testing.

Key Skills

• 5 years+ experience of coding in C++
• Good understanding of networking and the OSI model
• Understanding of socket level coding
• Experience of building multi-threaded applications
• Experience of working in a Windows environment and coding front ends without forms / MFC support
• Good experience of writing SQL, stored procedures in Transact SQL for SQL Server 2008 (other versions are also fine)
• Experience of using Microsoft Foundation classes for database access
• Comfortable working with older coding styles and seeking to bring a more object oriented style to a legacy application
• Good working with close knit teams - but distributed in location
