SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER - LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN

Role

To provide strong and effective Telecommunications CLAM management including category management of inventory, including Central Distribution Centre (CDC), stock in field, returns sortation / reuse and virtual warehouse stock holdings for the nominated contract and reporting. Delivering a 'best in class' service, whilst minimising the liability and risk internally and maximising the supply chain efficiencies in procurement and throughput of stock and meeting customer expectations.

Required skills

• Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management and a demonstrable record of success
• Extensive experience within the mobile telecommunications industry
• Proven experience operating within a third party logistics environment (preferred but not essential)
• A wealth of experience of managing external client relationships
• Excellent understanding of forecasting and planning principles and systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Ideally able to use SAP and understand Warehouse Management Systems (for example JDA)
• Graduate Calibre or equivalent
• Understanding of the telecoms industry
• Driving process execution and review for continuous improvement opportunities
• Evidence of developing leadership skills and strong analytical skills
• Ability to build strong working relationship and influence at all levels of an organisation and with clients at a senior level
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong project management, team facilitation and influencing skills
• Awareness in supply chain risk management and materials management
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
