Service Delivery Manager (Agile/SharePoint/Intranet/Waterfall)

Service Delivery Manager (Agile/SharePoint/Intranet/Waterfall) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 12 months rolling contract (to be taken in 6 month stints), to be based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• The successful applicant will be a Service Delivery Manager with Intranet and SharePoint service delivery experience, in addition to test, development, applications, infrastructure service delivery experience
• Experience and working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
• Must have strong operational experience
• Must have Intranet and SharePoint service delivery experience
• Own and lead Service Delivery to contracted service commitments
• Engage and drive Capability Units - manage in a service partnership as "one service team"
• Identify and define requirements for new services - ensure professionally introduced and accepted into service
• Own and Deliver on Continual Service Improvement Plans
• Accountable for Forecasting and Management of P&L
• Actively own service risks, control service costs and improve productivity
• Manage the service delivery team driving development and effectiveness
• Experience with vendor outsourcing models including onsite/offshore resources
• High Level understanding of Customer Relationship Management - working in a Collaborative Continuous Delivery Model
