Job Description

Service Architect (ITIL / Service Processes) - Contract - Home-Based.

A global IT services company is searching for a Service Architect with strong ITIL and service processes experience to join their team on a rolling contract basis. The role will be home-based with some occasional ad-hoc travel to customer sites.

The Service Architect will be responsible for ensuring the customer and accounts teams receive a service management service and process which meets their contractual and operational requirements.

In addition to the established Service Desk Implementation team, the role of the Service Architect is expected to be able to deliver Service Design & supporting ITIL process based collateral in line with SDBM. Processes, artefacts and re-usable collateral are already in place in the Service Desk Deployment space, however there is an ambition to drive this across the wider ITIL Service Management space where such collateral does not already exist.

The team will also have a responsibility to support accounts in planning for service delivery of sustainable practices. The successful individual will report to a Service Architecture Manager within SDI.

The Service Architect is responsible for the design of our customers Service Offerings and the Service Design/Implementation for an individual customer. The role covers the following components:

* Service organisation design
* Service process design
* Service Descriptions
* Service Support Models

The Service Architect can be engaged during any part of the service life-cycle, but is usually focused on Transition.

* Bid
* Transition
* Service Delivery
* Service Decommissioning
