Senior Tech Operations/Technical Lead (CA ITCM,OpsView)

Our renowned IT Client is looking for a Security Cleared 2nd Line Enterprise Management support contractor to join their team. As part of a small team within a larger operations organization, your role will be to deliver support services and change to EM platforms hosting alert monitoring configurations that are critical to our Customer. You can expect to attain skills in new technologies to ensure continued growth of technical capability, with opportunities to work with all our operational teams -inc. Windows, Solaris/Linux, Storage and Backup teams to enhance that learning.

Key responsibilities:

• Resolution of incidents and problems.
• Delivering infrastructure change and projects.
• Identifying and delivering service improvements.
• Developing the capability and skills of peers and junior engineers.

Skills:

• Significant knowledge of CA ITCM and SCOM is essential.
• Significant Knowledge of Opsview/ Nagios systems.
• UNIX/ Windows POWERSHELL scripting skills.
• Technical leadership during projects and live service events.
• Awareness of the ITIL Service Management framework and specifically incident and change management.
