Generalist Solutions Architect - AD - Azure - Dublin

Are you an experienced Solutions Architect with excellent experience and understanding of Active Directory together with confident knowledge accross a broad array of software and Infrastructure technologies garnered over many years as a IT specialist? If so, please apply to a brand new contract position working for one the worlds largest IT service providers based in Dublin.

As the Senior Technical Solution Architect you will be providing expertise in the areas of Infrastructure and Application Integration for a Retail giant that is embracing some of the newest technology and solutions within the marketplace.

To be successful you will ideally have the following skillset:

• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in technical (software & infrastructure) architecture, development and support. Expertise of Active Directory is essential.
• Extensive experience of the Microsoft platform including modern web technologies, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SQL, also good knowledge and understanding of MS System Centre Configuration Manager(SCCM).
• Knowledge of Azure and multi-tenant/ SaaS solutions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and network technologies as well as Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of MS System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM) an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design using applications lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated software development experience and use of PowerShell scripting.
• Background from a FMCG industry delivering enterprise solutions, ERP or similar business systems is highly desired.
