Senior Social Media Manager

London

The Company:

A leading Telecoms company who operate in more than 170 countries across the world. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to work within the Consumer Marketing Department, based out of their offices in London. This role would suit someone who has experience in brand promotion and protection, gained within a B2C environment (agency or in-house)

Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership of Social Media projects assigned and ensure their delivery to the highest standard.
  • Delivers and presents regular analysis, diagnosis and KPI reporting to drive continuous improvements in results, productivity and establishing wider market context to assist in timely decision-making to unlock funding, enhance performance or mitigate risk.
  • Ensure all Social Media activity is in line with the companies brand values, and the specific areas of interest identified in the UK.
  • Key interface into Analytics and Insight internal team or agency side to ensure insight, reporting, tracking and monitoring is accurate and achievable to support existing, new and on-going activity.
  • Support the UK & WEU Head of Social Media with the implementation of the UK Social Media program and strategy at local level ensuring adherence to its principles.
  • Work closely with Social Media agency on constantly refining the Social Media program and proactively coming up with initiatives to drive up performance.

Experience Required:

  • Brand promotion and protection in Social Media experience.
  • In-house or agency Social Media management experience
  • Successfully manages multiple stakeholders at senior levels
  • Experience in creation of brand and product Social media content for use across multiple platforms
  • A track record in kicking off new initiatives and watching them grow in to successful channels
  • Strong sense of teamwork, self-motivation
  • The ability to communicate and work with a variety of different stakeholders
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role within an agency or in-house
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
