Job Description

We work alongside a major UK Telco and they are currently seeking the services of a Senior Procurement Manager. The successful Senior Procurement Manager will work across the end-to-end procurement strategy for key Telecoms / Transmission services. This will include managing sourcing (pre-contract / negotiations and RFPs) as well as commercially managing through the life-cycle from requirement definition, sourcing strategy, RFP, implementing, In-life management and dispute resolution etc, ensuring performance and re-negotiating where required.

As the Senior Procurement Manager you will work across multiple complex contracts which will require the facilitation of several parties, process and governance. As well as this there will some new requirements which will require your expertise.

In the position of Senior Procurement Manager you will be required to:

  • Complex negotiations - Products, complex Managed Services
  • Interact with 3rd parties
  • Contract management
  • Programme procurement - Managing multiple work-streams
  • Stakeholder management up to board level

This role will require someone with a proven portfolio and successful background within Transmission - Dark fibre, Broadband, Wi-Fi and Microwave along with an understanding of regulatory and Ofcom standards.
