Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer - 6 months + Contract - Cambridge

Project people are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a key player within the technology and telecommunications space. This is an initial 6 months contract based in Cambridge.

Key requirements/ experience of:

• At least 5 years as an IT professional in Linux Dev Ops role with expertise in a wide variety of infrastructure technologies.
• At least 5 years programming/scripting experience in Python/Bash/Ruby
• Admin experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, OpenStack)
• Experience with development and administration in a range of tools is desirable:

Red Hat, CentOS, DNS, PKI, Apache, Nginx, Checkpoint firewall, VMware, Nagios, Zabbix, Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl and JavaScript, TCP, AWS, MongoDB, NetApp, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Puppet, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Chef, Ansible, Salt, Vagrant, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and Apache Hadoop.

• Knowledge of unicast video delivery systems and typical network topologies used in unicast video delivery deployments desirable
