Senior Design and Planning Engineer

Senior Design and Planning Engineer. Reading. Permanent Opportunity.

Senior Design and Planning Engineer is required to work on a permanent basis to act as the technical subject matter expert and solution provider between the shareholders and all the MSPs pertaining to Radio Design and Planning.

Leading a number of forums:

• RF Planning and Tools Forum- to offer practical solutions to shareholders on network planning issues. Governing MSPs on best practice and use of the tools
• Change Control Forum - Running this forum every 2 weeks, to ensure that all Change Requests are being managed properly e.g. that any CRs raised by one shareholder aren't going to impact the other's network performance.
• Data Integrity Forum - Interfacing with all parties, and directing Ericsson in the management of data.

The successful candidate will illustrate:

• RAN Design and Planning Engineer
• Knowledge of UK networks
• From either MSP or Operator background
• If Operator - looking for experience managing delivery from MSP's
• If from MSP - looking for someone who interfaces with the customer (operator) (rather than back-office engineer)
• Ideally experience with Asset Radio Planning, Spectrum (EE Tool), CR tool (Change Requests).
