Senior CheckPoint Security Engineer (3rd Line Operations)

We have an immediate requirement for a 3rd Line IP Networking and Security Engineer with a specialism in CheckPoint technology to work with one of our top CheckPoint Platinum Partner clients.

Based in their dedicated Network Operations Centre, the primary responsibility of this role will be to provide third-line technical support for managed service customers. The ideal candidate will join our managed services team with existing networking and security skills; they will be able to implement configuration changes and provide end-to-end incident support to the majority of the following managed devices including:

• Check Point FireWall-1 and VSX
• F5 Load Balancing
• Cisco ASA/PIX Firewalls
• Cisco Routers & Switches (Nexus)

What we are looking for?

• Excellent communication skills and an ability to calmly manage 3rd line issues to resolution, whilst keeping senior management and VIP customers appraised of the situation.
• Check Point Firewall-1 and VSX experience (CCSE ideal)
• Cisco Switching and Routing knowledge
• Cisco ASA/PIX experience
• F5 LTM skills (v10/v11)
