SECURITY CONSULTANT - CCSE, Checkpoint design & implementation

This role will officially based from the office; but in reality, the majority of your time will be spent at customer sites, being technical point of contact from requirement gathering through to successful delivery of security / firewall solutions.

Your main responsibility will be to provide technical expertise throughout the complete cycle of the professional services engagement; pre-sales, design, implementation, handover.

You will be expected to join the professional services team with a good understanding of networking as well. The ability to design, implement and configure complete network solutions is a must; in the majority of the following disciplines:

• Check Point firewalls (VSX, FireWall-1)
• IPS / DPS
• Web Security
• SIEM
• Logrhythm

We're looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and works well within a team. You should be self-motivated with an on-going desire to maintain your knowledge level at the forefront of technology. There will be an on-going expectation to ensure all work is delivered to the highest quality, and that all certifications are kept updated.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Check Point certified (Ideally CCSE)
• At least five years of IT industry experience
• Design, Implementation and Configuration experience with Check Point solutions.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

• Cisco CCIE
• Cisco Security experience (e.g. ASA / PIX)
• F5 / Sourcefire / IronPort
