Job Description
Great contract opportunity open for an SC Cleared* Border Force L2 Support with experience in Linux and L2 support to come on board and work for a multinational information technology equipment and services company based in London. This will be an initial 6 month contract position with competitive rates on offer.
Key experience:
Awareness of Linux
� Awareness of Windows based systems
� L2 support experience
Responsibilities:
Provide 24x7 monitoring of Border Crossing (BX) and AFTC
Perform regular health checks (2 hourly intervals)
Monitor BX and AFTC Incidents in Service Now.
Triage all incidents and escalate to the relevant Business and L3 teams
Raise required Jira's from Service Now BX/AFTC Incidents to be passed onto L3
Manage BX user port user accounts - creation, enable/disable, pin number resets etc.
Follow approved Run Books (instructions) and Incident Management process.
Assist the Business with any software releases
Assist with any Warnings Index (WI) activities as and when required
* the successful candidate must be willing to undergo SC Clearance prior to commencement of the contract
