SC Cleared Java Developer (Apache, Weblogic)

SC Cleared Java Developer - Contract - Southend-On-Sea, Essex.

A global IT services company is searching for an SC Cleared Java Developer to join their team in Southend on a contract basis. The role will involve working for a public sector customer so SC Clearance will be required.

The SC cleared Java Developer will work within a small Agile team focusing on the re-deployment of legacy services, moving from a physical Solaris environment onto Cloud like Red Hat Linux environments. The project will be porting the applications whilst also looking to upgrade the application stacks to bring them up to date and into support and splitting shared service environments out into individual environments.

Essential Skills Required:

• Java
• Apache Web server
• Weblogic application server

Desirable Skills Required:

• J2EE
• Apache TomCat application server
• JBOSS application server
• RDBMS - Oracle, MySQL, Ingres
• Migrating Services to Cloud / alternative platforms
• Agile
