Job Description
QA Tester - Maidenhead - Contract - 6 months
Project People are currently looking for a QA Tester to join a really successful and forward thinking business in Maidenhead. This is a contract opportunity for 6 months initially.
This role will sit within the Quality Assurance Team and will focus on testing digital solution predominately across mobile and app (some web), working with agile methodologies using creative, quality expertise, ensuring product owner's expectations are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out test executions, using UAT testing techniques but also static, integration and systems testing methods
- Working on mobile apps and e-commerce platforms
- Reviewing acceptance criteria, working with Scrum Teams, Product Owners, Developers
- Analysing and investigating issues found in testing and resolving these with relevant teams
- Providing updates on testing progress to the QA Manager
- Reviewing all form of project coordination including technical briefs, designs, wireframes, business requirements and specifications
Key requirements/ experience of:
- UAT and front end testing
- ISTQB / ISEB or relevant experience
- Software and programming knowledge (HTML, Java)
- Application knowledge (Jira, Quality Canter)
- Automation skills or desire to progress within automation
- Agile methodologies (Agile, V-Model, Waterfall)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communications skills
