Job Description
Digital QA Analyst
6 Month Contract
Maidenhead, Berkshire
QA Analyst - Fantastic opportunity to work within the Quality Assurance team within a leading communications company based in Maidenhead. You will be immersed in a fast-paced and fun, digitally focused environment, responsible for testing new releases across all the digital platforms - mobile, web and tablet!
As QA Analyst you will be joining a fun hard working team, so we are looking for someone who is dynamic and flexible, who will constantly question and look for opportunities to improve quality - we want you to be an advocate for quality and not be afraid to push back when standards are not being met! You will need to be confident with excellent communication skills as stakeholder management is key to this role.
What you will be doing:
- Reviewing all forms of project documentation including Business Requirements Specification documents, technical briefs, designs and wireframes
- Work with product Owners to define acceptance criteria and produce test plans
- Review acceptance criteria with scrum teams, Product Owners, Site Builders and interact with Project Managers and Test Environment Managers
- Analyst and investigate issues found in testing and work to resolve these
- Carry out test execution using UAT testing techniques but also static, integration and system testing methods
You:
- Innovative & passionate about testing
- Ability to tackle issues logically
- Previous experience working in a fast paced digital environment as a QA Analyst
- UAT and front end testing experience with particular focus on 'look and feel'
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, V-Model, Waterfall)
- Knowledge of software testing
