Programme Manager / Consultant - Back Office Systems (Telecoms)

6 month rolling contract

Maidenhead, Berkshire

Programme Manager / Consultant - Telecoms back office systems (billing, customer management, revenue assurance, mediation, fraud etc). This is a 6 month rolling contract opportunity working for a well-known Telecoms company in Berkshire. We are looking for a Consultant or Programme Manager with previous experience in delivering change across billing, customer management, revenue assurance, mediation, fraud etc. for a telecoms company.

As Consultant / Programme Manager you will need to have recent experience within a telecoms environment, delivering change across the area and in particular digital integration into cloud systems. You will interface with a number of key suppliers, you must have strong delivery capability, great stakeholder management and the ability to pick up a range of complex issues. Experience of indirect channels will also be required.

This is part of a highly business critical series of interlocking programmes and we are looking for someone with proven programme management in this field, extensive supplier management experienced, gravitas, ownership and drive. You will be expected to be autonomous and capable of taking control of budget process, commercial discussions/disputes and team leadership.

Additional Skills & Experience Required:

  • Significant proven and demonstrable ability in delivery complex programmes across back office functions for a telecoms company, which have delivered significant company-wide benefits
  • Delivering complex digital change programmes including integration into Cloud systems
  • Highly customer-focused approach (internal and external)
  • Proven track record of influencing at senior management/operating board level within large organisations (1000+ staff) and of building and managing excellent business wide relationships
  • Indirect management of matrix teams 50+ people across external suppliers and internal resources
  • Financial responsibility - budgetary control
  • Formal programme management qualification
  • Expert in Programme Management principles, methods, techniques and tools
