IoT (Internet of Things) Product Manager - South London or Berkshire

Project People are currently looking for an IoT Product Manager to join a well-known, global operator of data and telecommunications services. The main focus of the role will be leading the development and strategy of an innovative and robust Internet of Things (IoT), including customer experience (such as digital touch prints, service concept and P&S), defining platform requirements and market strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the product management efforts for IoT services, defining the business plan, product offers and road maps
• Developing critical business strategies to ensure a successful delivery
• Negotiating commercial agreements with partners as well as managing stakeholder and suppliers relationships
• Identifying customer needs and driving new business opportunities
• Conducting market analysis for current and future products in order to maximise revenue
• Creating a global IoT vision and coordination strategies for new products
• Leading user experience requirements, research and testing processes
• Working on reducing the sales cycle via excellent products, clear information, fast processes and great understanding of customer needs and experience
• Providing reports, risk assessments and new opportunities in any given region

Key requirements/ experience of:

• Proven track record of delivering success stories in the IoT (Internet of Things) markets
• In depth understanding of the IoT industry and market trends
• Experience of identifying and delivering future proof IoT services portfolio
• Experience of identifying and managing strategic partnerships
• Proven record of enhancing or developing new products or channel in order to increase the revenue
• Experience managing budgets and working with international teams
• Ability to convert technical solution into a clear end customer requirement
• Present, negotiate and influence at a senior level
• In depth understanding of Telco/ Telecoms/ Telecommunications market, ideally working for a mobile operator

This role will be ideally suited for a delivery focused individual who can turn strategy into reality and be able to inspire people and challenge people across the business in order to enhance the customer experience.

Please note this role will require occasional travel.
