Job Description

We are looking for a PMO Delivery and Governance Lead to join our client's expanding Head Office Team in Reading, with one the world's leading Mobile Telecoms Service Providers. You'll be part of a vibrant, agile team at the forefront of Mobile Telecoms and IT Technology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Own, maintain and continuously improve the MBNL Delivery Way and 3PM delivery governance
  • Work with the stakeholders of the 3PM delivery and governance processes to learn from MBNL's delivery experience. Measure and analyse delivery performance to identify improvement areas, and best-practice
  • Keep abreast of 3PM industry standards and best practice, identifying where these can be applied within MBNL
  • Lead the optimisation of the methodology and processes, ensuring the methods remain industry-leading and fit for purpose
  • Lead on programme quality reviews to assure adherence to processes and procedures
  • Provide coaching and training to the programme delivery community to support delivery, acting as an SME for 3PM processes, governance mechanisms and controls
  • Deliver training courses and materials on MBNL Delivery Way, MBNL governance, and the supporting processes and tools, encouraging adoption and adherence by MBNL staff
  • Develop an MBNL knowledgebase to capture lessons learnt, identify systemic issues, and support continuous improvement
  • Support the end-to-end management of benefits and risks across the delivery programmes
  • Ensure that the end-to-end delivery governance of 3PM is effective, consistent and robustly applied
  • Provide input and advice to the development of BPT's systems, to ensure these systems support MBNL Delivery Way and MBNL governance

The successful PMO Delivery & Governance Lead will have:

  • Experience of working in a PMO, central planning function or governance function
  • Expertise in using defined programme and project delivery processes consistently over time
  • Experience in designing and development of enterprise end-to-end planning and governance processes and standards
  • Experience working with project and programme managers, and negotiating changes with 3rd party suppliers
  • Experience working with board-level or C-suite executives
