Packet Core Network Architect. London, Battersea (SW11), Contract role

Global telecommunication company is seeking a Packet Core Network Architect to join the technology team which enables the rapid delivery of high-speed global mobile connectivity, customised MVNE, IoT and other Group services and the deployment of new and innovative value-added services via a single, central implementation.

You will be Subject Matter Expert on Packet Core Network related matters for the building and delivering new technology services to the group across Europe and Asia.

Support the Sales team with Subject Matter expertise including gathering and documenting requirements and liaising with vendors. to ensure solution meets the requirements.

Responsible for technical design, implementation, testing, deployment and stability period support for projects assigned, including onboarding of new customers onto MVNE or IoT platforms.

The successful candidate will illustrate:

• Demonstrable high quality record of working as a Packet Core Network Architect on global programmes that deliver to challenging time scales in a methodical way
• Experience of working in teams and engaging with technical resources and project managers spanning more than one country is preferable
• An excellent understanding of mobile packet core (2G, 3G, 4G) network architecture, IP networks, IP routing and IP security principles, mobile service control architecture, design of online charging and data rating systems, signalling and SS7
• A good understanding of end to end solution including SIM cards, devices through to applications and billing/provisioning
• Experience working with integration of MVNOs or IoT enterprises and International Roaming
