NOC Agent - Telecoms - Support - BT - Solihull
Are you an experienced professional with experience of working within a Network Operation Centre environment? If you have a NOC background or experience working with Trouble Ticketing systems within the Telecoms sector please apply for a brand new contract role working for one of the worlds largest IT Outsourcers based in Solihull.
Our clients NOC offers support across a wide range of technologies including Cisco, Juniper WAN/LAN Enterprise solutions, DWDM transmission networks, Telephony, IP-Voice, GPON, xDSL, SDH, and IP Infrastructure. They currently require a number of NOC Agents during a busy 3-6 month period in which Agents would be expected to manage and deal with ADSL, PTSN and GSM issues, mediating between client and 3rd party teleco vendors to achieve a resolution. Full training will be provided but a confident telephone manner and strong grasp of fixed line telecoms infrastructure will be essential.
You will ideally have the following expertise:
- Experience within a Telecommunications support area and computer literate
- Experience of Trouble Ticketing management / updating.
- Experience liaising with Telco Providers and Updating Customers
- Knowledge of PSTN, ADSL, GSM, Satellite and Radio very useful.
All candidates must be able to achieve BS Clearance - must be a UK resident for at least 5 years.
