Microwave Field Engineer

Microwave Field Engineer. London (with some travel but not extensive.) Permanent role with Excellent salary and benefits.

Investment and trading company seeks field engineer (fully certified climber) with microwave link telecoms background. The successful candidate would be someone who has taken a lead role or has moved into project management as this role will require a lot of stakeholder management and commercial skills

This person will do a lot of lone working and be the eyes and ears on the ground. You will be reporting to stakeholders, managing budgets, have good PC knowledge and contribute to the project management. Your role will involve working in an office sitting next to investment bankers and traders. However you will need the hands on technical experience, as you will be called out to sites to respond to trouble tickets raised to troubleshoot, support installations and manage the sub-contractors. Office based 25% of the time 75% time based in the field (Mainly London, with some travel to France, Belgium and Germany)
