Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Definition and presentation of the UK Marketing Strategy (goal, target, plan, instruments/tools) and Plan:

- Integration with the local company sales and HQ marketing strategy and planning.

- Provide market intelligence to facilitate MD with local positioning and strategic decision-making

- Marketing budget setting annually and working to budget.

- Internal communication within the UK team and also within the Group

  1. Drive marketing programs to deliver pipeline coverage for the sales organisation: (this in close cooperation with MD)

- Definition of target groups and management of customer & prospect databases.

- Localise value propositions and key messages.

- Creation and localisation + translation of marketing content.

- Managing the core lead development and customer retention activities, as well as lead generation programme in line with Marketing Plan.

- Event management (among others; presence at events, organise internal and external company events, speaker at events)

- Definition & execution of local online and social media strategy.

- Agency management.

  1. Drive PR activity to increase company brand awareness:
  • Design, development and production of communication materials
  • Coordination of all external communication
  • PR and social media (agency) management
  1. Managerial
  • Manages the Marketing Assistant.
  • Train, develop, motivate and coach the Marketing Assistant.
  • Identify and support opportunities for professional development.

* Responsible for guidelines for the Marketing Processes.

Essential Knowledge:

  • Extensive experience within technology industry field marketing, channel marketing, business development
  • Strong, demonstrated understanding of local marketing approaches to acquisition and customer retention
  • Strong technology skills, MS Office,, Eloqua, Marketo, Linkedin,


  • Ability build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytically skills and the ability to analyse data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate at executive level and for large

(external) groups

  • Excellent planning skills; creation and follow-up of plans, setting priorities

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or other related fields

* 5+ years experience in a B2B marketing environment

* Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management

  • Fluent in English - both in writing and orally

* Experience in agency management

* Preferably CIMA or marketing accreditation
