Job Description

Project People are supporting a multi-academy trust based in the East Midlands. They are seeking to appoint a Lead Practitioner in Maths (Primary) on a permanent basis from September 2019 or January 2020.

Salary range: £42,196 - £46,658

Interviews will take place week commencing Monday 8th July 2019

The successful person will have a proven track record of high quality teaching, with Maths being your key focus.

This will give you the opportunity to step out of the classroom and into the role as a coach across the academy trust. You will mentor others, offering advice and constructive feedback to improve the quality and consistency of teaching across schools in the academy trust. Alongside this, you will have experience of role modelling best practice.

You will partner with leaders and teaching colleagues across the Trust, working in line with their school improvement plans to highlight and implement strategies that have a positive impact on pupil outcomes in numeracy at all key stages.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Leadership and development of Maths within a school(s)
  • Partnered other schools to promote collaborative working and the sharing of good practice
  • Experience of observing lessons and providing feedback to help the development of others
  • Able to develop innovative practice with Maths
