Lead Cloud Security Consultant (Azure) - Contract - London

A global IT services company is searching for a Lead Cloud Security Consultant with strong Azure knowledge to join their team in London on a contract basis.

The Lead Cloud Security Consultant will drive functional equivalence of security service and compliance provided within the data centres solution into cloud (k5 and Azure).

Role:

• You will be responsible for operating across vertical cloud streams teasing out security risk and developing risk plans.
• You will ensure that cloud can deliver operational services, confidentiality, availability, integrity and compliance as defined by the client.
• Work closely with the compliance managers.
• A proactive Security Architect or senior Security Analyst with good technical, operational, team-working & influencing skills required to assist the Lead Security Consultant in ensuring that effective security is implemented within a large cloud migration programme.
• Experience of large migration projects and working within a large distributed team.
• Demonstrable experience within public cloud (Preferably Azure).
• Able to operate proactively across the vertical Cloud streams teasing out security risk & developing risk plans
• Ensure that Cloud can deliver Operational Services, Confidentiality, Availability, Integrity & Compliance as defined by the Client.
• Identify & progress Security initiatives to optimise & provide more efficient tooling, where feasible.
• Work closely with CISO & lead security consultant but report to CTO.
• Preferably CISSP or CISM qualified.
