Lead Azure Solution Architect - Azure - Solihull / Remote

An Azure Skilled Lead Solution Architect is required for a major UK wide Program for one of the worlds largest IT service providers. You will be working on a long term contract basis with a high degree of flexibility in terms of base location and remote working.

You will act as an Azure technical specialist supporting the 2 major UK wide Programmes reporting into the Technical and Migration leads. You will provide guidance on Azure best practice and recommended solutions to the Azure programme, covering areas such as Azure IaaS IaC deployments, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery Manager and Azure infrastructure solution design.

Working with Migration and Solution architect's you will also establish Azure Infrastructure blueprints for the target architecture for applications and identifying and creating standard deployment units for the Azure migration, ensuring a cohesion between the two key Programmes of focus.

To be successful you will have the following skillset:

• Azure Solution Design and deployment- IaaS and PaaS (DBaaS, File Services).
• Creation of blueprints for Azure target architectures, that are deployable in line with Azure constraints.
• Delivering Highly available platforms within Azure (inter and intra zones).
• Working with Application Architects to identify requirements, translating into solution designs.
