Application Architect - Java - Oracle - Solution Architect

Role Purpose

The primary element of this role relates to Lead Applications Architect on a Application managed service account. This will be working for an important customer and the client to deliver App Support and oversee the delivery of multiple projects.

Skills Essential

· Senior Architect Applications - There is no hands Software Development on this account for this role. However, the role requires strong experience of application architecture, and software development management
· Knowledge of Java Application Development
· Java Development Knowledge

Applications Solution Architect Responsibilities.

· Build Technical Understanding of Complex Application Landscape

· Technical Lead for Remote Application

· Engage with Customers technical teams to support Incident Resolution and delivery of CRs.
· Governance of the Applications Support and Development function processes and tools.
· Manage customer requirements and produce project proposals.
· Assess the technical impact of proposed projects across the customer estate.
· Assess the effort of proposed projects and work with suppliers and the clients GDC teams to develop technical implementation plans for delivery.
· Produce and/or validate solution designs.

Operational Responsibilities

· Create change specifications for project delivery tasks.

· Participate in the change management board and act as change authority for the client.
· Provide a technical point of escalation for delivery teams.
· Troubleshooting & technical assessment for incident and project issue resolution.
· Participate and advise in problem resolution processes.
· Provide final Technical Quality Assurance and Service Readiness on application changes
