Exciting new opportunity for a Junior Software Tester to join a company in Witney, Oxfordshire. This role is a great opportunity to work for a friendly company that really cares about their staff's wellbeing and offers some amazing benefits.

As Junior Software Tester your duties would include:

• testing of web/desktop/service based apps
• Automated test script writing
• Experience of using source control
• IIS and setting up web environments

The successful candidate would have previous experience of testing web, desktop and service (API) based applications as well as some of the below skills and experience:

• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and ability to write SQL queries
• Experience in creating batch / script files for testing
• Experience in automated testing script writing and execution
• IIS and setting up new web based environments
• Proven track record in the management of release processes
• An understanding of software test methodologies
• Experience of using source control (TFS, SVN or GIT)
• Knowledge and use of development IDE's (Visual Studio)
• Previous experience of creating / developing custom regression testing frameworks
